La Vita Promessa 2
Production by PicoMedia & Rai Fiction
Directed by Ricky Tognazzi
New York, 1937. Carmela's family seems to have finally reached the long-awaited promised life, but soon the tranquility falls apart due to two events: Rocco's escape after the umpteenth fight between Carmela and Rosa, and the return of the vengeful Spanò (believed dead in a fire fight, actually only seriously injured), escaped from the federal prison where he was locked up. Even Amedeo Ferri, returned from Germany (where he took to heart the fate of a Jewish family persecuted by the Nazis), mobilizes to help Carmela find her son, while between Antonio and Spano is fighting to the death. From here, the dramatic events that rage on the Carrizzo family will only increase.
