Stargate Studios Malta is a local visual effects studio known for delivering exceptional VFX services for film and television. We are in search of an enthusiastic and motivated Bidding Coordinator to join our team. This entry-level position is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the VFX industry. While no previous experience in the sector is required, a passion for visual effects and a keen interest in the entertainment industry are essential.
The Bidding Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the sales and bidding processes at Stargate Studios Malta. This individual will work closely with our experienced team of producers, artists, and technicians to learn the ins and outs of VFX production, with a focus on developing skills in commercial awareness, project assessment, and financial management.
The Bidding Coordinator reports directly to the Head of Sales.
- Learning and Development:
Actively engage in learning opportunities to gain a comprehensive understanding of the VFX production process; Participate in training sessions and workshops to develop bidding, sales, and negotiation skills.
- Support in Bidding and Sales Efforts:
Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals, ensuring all necessary information is gathered and presented clearly; Support the sales team in researching potential clients and projects.
- Market Research:
Conduct research to stay informed about market trends and advancements in VFX technology; Compile data and insights to support the bidding and sales teams.
- Relationship Building:
Assist in building and maintaining relationships with clients, production companies, and other industry stakeholders; Participate in industry events and networking opportunities as required.
- Administrative Support:
Provide administrative support to the bidding and sales teams, including document preparation, data entry, and coordination of meetings; Ensure all documentation related to bids and sales efforts is organised and up to date.
